Job Title: Cover Supervisor – Long-Term

Location: Leeds OR Wakefield

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

We are working with a brilliant secondary schools in Leeds and Wakefield that are looking for confident, dependable Cover Supervisors to join their team long-term. A rewarding role where you can develop skills, build relationships with students, and really make a difference to young people.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects – if you have a specialist subject, this will be prioritised
  • Creating a calm, purposeful environment for learning
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policy
  • Supporting students to stay focused and engaged
  • Feeding back to teaching staff at the end of each day

  • Experience working with young people (in or outside of school)
  • A confident, approachable style and strong classroom presence
  • Good communication and behaviour management skills
  • A flexible, proactive attitude and genuine interest in education
