Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs? We are working with a welcoming specialist school in Chigwell that is seeking an experienced SEND Teacher with QTS to join their supportive team from September. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils receive personalised support to help them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their individual goals. Staff work collaboratively to create engaging learning experiences that support pupils’ academic progress, communication, independence, and personal development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND or within a specialist setting
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of complex needs
- Patient, nurturing, and creative approach to teaching
