Are you a creative, energetic, and hands-on Teaching Assistant who loves making learning fun and engaging? We’re working with a friendly primary school in Chigwell looking for a TA who brings imagination, enthusiasm, and positivity into the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys thinking outside the box and supporting children through creative learning approaches.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils across the classroom through creative, child-led activities
- Using art, play, storytelling, and practical learning to engage pupils
- Supporting small groups and 1:1 where needed
- Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and emotional regulation
- Working closely with teachers to adapt learning in fun and accessible ways
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
- A creative mindset – drama, art, music, play, or outdoor learning experience welcomed
- Confident supporting pupils with SEN or SEMH (desirable but not essential)
- Warm, proactive, and great at building relationships
- Passionate about making learning enjoyable
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
