Overview

Contract: Full-time, Long-Term | Start Date: Immediate 2026

Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (PAYE, weekly pay—no umbrella agencies)

Who You’ll Work With

We’re supporting a brilliant mix of SEND schools across Chesterfield and surrounding areas. These schools are doing amazing work with pupils who have autism, SEMH, PMLD and complex needs—and they’re looking for kind, capable Teaching Assistants to join their team.

Your Role Could Include

  • Supporting children 1:1 or in small groups
  • Helping with communication tools and sensory regulation
  • Creating calm, structured learning environments
  • Working alongside SENCOs, therapists, and families
  • Using (or training in) trauma-informed and de-escalation strategies
