SEN 1:1 Support Assistant to provide individual support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in schools across Chesterfield.
Whether you have previous experience in education, care, support work, or are looking to start a rewarding career in SEN, we would love to hear from you.
The Role
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs.
- Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence, and engagement.
- Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored learning and support plans.
- Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

- A caring, patient, and resilient approach.

- Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable but not essential.
- A willingness to undertake relevant training.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
