A school in Shropshire is looking for a Chemistry Teacher to join their team! You will be responsible for maximizing the academic progress of your students. Collaborating with colleagues, you will participate in the development of the department, promoting a positive, professional environment that encourages cooperation and growth.
General Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to all students' abilities and align with the syllabus.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Inspire enthusiasm for the subject, helping students reach their full potential.
- Work with the Head of Department, Learning Support, Form Tutor, and Head of House to address educational and pastoral needs.
- Complete assessments and reports according to guidelines and deadlines.
Qualifications and Personal Qualities:
- Hold an appropriate degree with UK PGCE or other teaching qualification providing QTS.
- Familiarity with the English national curriculum, including IGCSE/GCSE and/or A-Level.
- Be local to the area and able to travel to the school.
