We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary mainstream school in Chelmsford. This full-time role involves providing 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
- Support the pupil's academic, social, and emotional development.
- Implement strategies and interventions outlined in the child's support plan.
- Encourage independence and positive engagement in lessons.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals where required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
