Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join an Outstanding Special Needs school in Witham.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to students with special needs, including autism and SLD.
- Support non‑verbal students, ensuring strong communication and building rapport.
- Inspire, motivate, challenge and support each pupil, maintaining a friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning.
- Work full‑time, 5 days a week, between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Appropriate qualifications and training for the role.
- Strong desire to assist students with special needs (no experience required).
- Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscription to the DBS Update Service.
