Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chelmsford seeking a dedicated full-time LSA to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with SEN experience who is looking to secure a permanent role within a supportive school environment.
About the role
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs
- Supporting children with EHCPs, helping them access the curriculum
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence, and social development
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN (essential)
- Experience within a primary school setting
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Someone committed to progressing into a permanent role
