We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Central Chelmsford seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their KS1 team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s development, particularly those with additional needs.
The Role:
- Provide classroom support within Key Stage 1
- Work closely with the class teacher to support learning and engagement
- Offer 1:1 and small group support where required
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children (school-based or similar)
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine interest in supporting children with SEN
Development Opportunities:
