Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in the Cheam area? We are working with a welcoming and supportive specialist setting seeking an enthusiastic teacher to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and help them achieve their full potential.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with a variety of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. You will play a vital role in creating a positive learning environment that promotes confidence, independence, and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Support students in achieving their EHCP targets and developmental goals.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external professionals.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Previous experience working with SEN pupils is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
