We are currently recruiting Care Support Staff to work with SEND Support Assistants.

This school is looking for individuals with experience in the care sector who are interested in applying their skills within special needs education. The school caters to students aged from primary to post-16, with varying levels of special needs, requiring support both one-to-one and in classroom settings. As a Care Support Worker, you will be involved in developing students\’ sensory development, motor skills, working alongside their care plans, teaching vocabulary, developing speech and language, and assisting in creative lessons such as art, cooking, music, and dance.

The role includes:
– Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (8:30 – 16:00)
– Year-long contract with the possibility of extension
– One-to-one support for students
– Teamwork with other staff
– Developing social and cognitive skills
– Potential work in the residential centre

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
