We are recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work across specialist education settings in the Cambridge (CB4) area from September. Whether you have experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or are looking to begin a rewarding career in education, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

  • Provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support.
  • Assist students with their learning, communication and social development.
  • Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with a range of additional needs where required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults is desirable.
  • A caring, patient and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred, or willingness to obtain one before starting.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday during term time.
