We’re working with a brilliant mainstream primary school, proudly rated Outstanding by Ofsted, that has a well‑established on‑site deaf learning provision. They’re now looking for a BSL Teaching Assistant to join the team full‑time.
What your day might look like:
- Supporting pupils within the deaf provision, helping them access lessons, build confidence, and feel fully included in school life.
- Translating classroom teaching into BSL.
- Supporting communication between pupils, staff, and peers.
- Working 1:1 or in small groups.
- Helping pupils stay engaged, settled, and ready to learn.
- Being that calm, familiar face pupils rely on.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
