Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑prepared lessons in line with the school’s curriculum
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Adapt quickly to different school settings, year groups, and classroom expectations
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and leadership teams
• Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils at all times

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children’s learning
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
