Year 4 Class Teacher – Bristol (BS15) | Full-Time | September Start

Are you an experienced KS2 Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity?

Protocol Education is recruiting for a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Bristol (BS15) from September.

This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) for the entire academic year, making it an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and making a positive impact on pupils' learning.

About the Role

As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for your class, including:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Marking pupils' work and monitoring progress.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Attending staff meetings, parents' evenings, and school events.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching Year 4 or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Have completed their ECT induction (preferred).
  • Are confident, resilient, and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Can commit to the full academic year.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply.

Pay: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
