Protocol Education is recruiting for a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Bristol (BS15) from September.
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) for the entire academic year, making it an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and making a positive impact on pupils' learning.
About the Role
As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for your class, including:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Marking pupils' work and monitoring progress.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Attending staff meetings, parents' evenings, and school events.
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Year 4 or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Have completed their ECT induction (preferred).
- Are confident, resilient, and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Can commit to the full academic year.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
