Protocol Education are working with a central Bristol Secondary School in the BS6 area to help them find talented supply support. In this role, which can be full or part‑time depending on your preferences, you will step in for absent teachers across a range of subjects, supervising classes and guiding pupils through pre‑planned tasks. Lessons are already prepared, so your focus is on managing the classroom, maintaining a calm learning environment and supporting students to stay engaged. You’ll be a calm, authoritative, kind and encouraging presence, someone pupils can rely on for consistency, fairness and reassurance. The Role: As an Unqualified Cover Supervisor, you will:

WHAT DO WE NEED TO CLEAR YOU:

  • Passport
  • 2 proofs of address (e.g. driving licence, utility bill, council tax, P45/60)
  • CV covering 10 years of all work and education, with gaps explained
  • 2 years of references (including childcare if applicable)
  • OSPC if you lived overseas for 3 months or more in the last 5 years
