Looking for a role where you can make a real difference, every single day? We’re working with a welcoming SEND school looking for someone who can step in and support pupils with additional needs including autism and SEMH.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience with children or young people
  • A patient, steady approach; you’re someone pupils can rely on
  • A genuine interest in SEND and supporting individual needs
  • Someone who brings positive energy, even on the tricky days

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils across the classroom, 1:1 and in small groups
  • Helping children stay engaged, regulated, and confident
  • Working closely with teachers and SEND staff to keep things consistent
  • Creating a calm, structured environment where pupils can thrive

Start date: 1st September

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 3:30pm, term time only (full time roles also available)

Location: North Bristol

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced DBS check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and undertake safeguarding checks in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’. We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers.
