We're looking for an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school this September. You'll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them feel safe, confident and ready to learn every day.
Whether it's celebrating a child's first full day in class, helping them communicate their needs, or simply being the reassuring face they can rely on, you'll make a genuine difference.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other additional needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalised learning
- Helping pupils build confidence, independence and resilience
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a school or similar setting
- Is patient, calm and adaptable
- Builds positive relationships with ease
- Is passionate about helping every child achieve their potential
- Can work well as part of a supportive school team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
