Learning Support Assistants in Bristol

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant with a background or strong interest in music to support pupils across school settings in Bristol. The role:

• Supporting pupils in lessons, helping them access learning in a way that suits their individual needs.
• Using creativity and musical understanding to engage and motivate students.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support, including those with additional learning needs.
• Assisting teachers in delivering inclusive, accessible lessons.
• Encouraging confidence, participation, and positive behaviour through supportive relationships.
• Helping to create a calm, structured, and positive learning environment.

What we’re looking for:

• A background or strong interest in music (performance, study, or teaching experience is desirable).
• Experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential.
• A patient, empathetic, and encouraging approach.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• A willingness to support pupils with a range of learning needs.
