A primary school in BS16 is looking for an experienced, fully qualified teacher to lead learning in Year 5 & Year 6, guiding pupils through one of the most important stages of their primary journey - starting after Easter. These schools need a teacher who can confidently take ownership of upper KS2 classes, provide calm, consistent leadership, and keep learning focused and purposeful, particularly in the lead-up to SATs.

You’ll be trusted to maintain standards, set clear expectations and create a classroom culture where pupils feel supported, motivated and ready to succeed. This is a hands‑on teaching role where your subject knowledge, classroom presence and ability to build quick rapport really matter. From securing core skills in maths and English, to preparing pupils for assessments and supporting their transition to secondary school, your impact will be felt straight away.

This placement will be carefully matched to your experience and preferences, in a school that genuinely values strong upper KS2 practitioners and treats supply teachers as professionals, not stop‑gaps.
