Protocol Education is looking for a committed and enthusiastic class teacher for a full-time role across Year 3 and Year 4. This is a lovely opportunity for a teacher who enjoys the curiosity, energy and growing independence that lower KS2 brings, and who takes real pride in helping children build confidence as learners.
The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 3 and Year 4 curriculum, creating a calm, positive classroom where children feel safe, challenged and supported. You’ll assess progress, adapt learning to meet a range of needs and work closely with colleagues to ensure every child has the chance to thrive. Strong behaviour management, clear routines and a nurturing approach will be key. A bit about you:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 3 or Year 4
- Confident planning and delivering the primary curriculum
- Strong classroom management with a calm, positive approach
- Committed to inclusive practice and meeting individual needs
- A team player who builds positive relationships with pupils and staff
What we need to clear you:
- Passport
- Two proofs of address, such as driving licence, utility bill, council tax or P45 or P60
- CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained
- Two years of references, including education references
- OSPC if you have lived overseas for three months or more in the last five years
