We're recruiting caring and adaptable Learning Support Practitioners to support pupils within a specialist Resource Base attached to a welcoming and highly inclusive primary setting in North Bristol. The school is known for its strong community values and its commitment to helping every child feel they belong, whatever their starting point or level of need.

You'll work alongside experienced staff, supporting children with additional needs through structured learning, communication, sensory activities, and everyday routines. No two days are the same, and that's part of the magic.

What you'll need

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND is desirable
  • A calm, patient and positive approach
  • Flexibility to work across different days each week
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • Two professional references covering the last two years

The school is based in North Bristol, close to the M5 and served by local bus routes, with Shirehampton station around 1.6km away, making it accessible by both car and public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
