We're looking for a Creative Teaching Assistant to support children and young people in specialist SEMH and SEND schools across Bristol. Whether your background is in education, youth work, sports coaching, drama, music, care, or mentoring, your skills could make a real difference in the classroom. What you'll be doing:
- Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Using creative approaches such as art, music, sport, drama, and hands-on learning to engage pupils
- Building positive relationships and becoming a trusted adult for young people who need consistency and encouragement
- Supporting learning both in and out of the classroom
- Helping pupils develop confidence, emotional regulation, communication skills, and independence
- Working alongside teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a safe and nurturing environment
