The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The role will involve:
- Providing 1:1 support for a student with ADHD in the classroom and around the school
- Supporting attention, organisation, and task engagement
- Helping the pupil manage transitions and maintain focus during lessons
- Working closely with class teachers and the SEND team to follow agreed strategies
- Using a calm, consistent approach to support behaviour and emotional regulation
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children or young people with ADHD or similar needs, or is keen to develop this specialism
- Is patient, clear, and consistent in their approach
- Can adapt support strategies to suit the pupil’s needs
- Works well as part of a wider team
Previous experience in a school setting is helpful but not essential. This role would suit someone with a background in care, youth work, mentoring, or support roles, as well as experienced teaching assistants.
