We're working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Shirehampton looking for a dedicated ADHD Support Assistant to provide full-time 1:1 support for a pupil who benefits from additional help with focus, organisation, emotional regulation, and engagement in the classroom. What you'll be doing:
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Helping the pupil stay engaged, focused, and on task during lessons
- Using positive behaviour strategies and clear routines to support learning
- Supporting emotional regulation and social interactions
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school team
- Celebrating progress, encouraging independence, and helping build self-esteem

- Experience supporting children or young people with ADHD, SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs
- A calm, patient, and positive approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to adapt and think creatively when challenges arise
