We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Calderdale. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils achieve their full potential, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom, small-group, and one-to-one support to pupils.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities.
  • Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Help implement individual learning plans and interventions.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support pupils with personal care needs where required.

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
