Are you passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs and helping them reach their full potential? We are working with a fantastic MLD school in Brentwood that is looking to appoint a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September.
The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils with moderate learning difficulties are supported to develop their communication skills, confidence, independence, and academic progress. Staff work closely with pupils to understand their individual needs and provide personalised support that helps them thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
You will be part of a collaborative team, working alongside experienced teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment where every pupil feels valued and encouraged.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND, MLD, or additional learning needs
- Be patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with pupils
- Have a positive and proactive approach to supporting learning and development
- Be passionate about helping children gain confidence and independence
- Be able to work effectively as part of a wider school team
