Teaching Assistant - Brentwood

We are working with a fantastic specialist school in Brentwood that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September. This specialist setting supports pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to build confidence, develop independence, and make meaningful progress. The school delivers a personalised curriculum designed to meet each pupil's individual learning needs while promoting their academic, social, and emotional development.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide tailored support both in and out of the classroom. You will help pupils access learning, develop their literacy and numeracy skills, build confidence, and encourage positive social interactions through engaging and differentiated activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with MLD, SEND, or additional learning needs
• Support literacy and numeracy development
