Are you a qualified SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding role where you can inspire, support, and empower pupils with additional needs? We are working with a highly supportive specialist school in Brentwood that is looking to appoint a passionate SEND Teacher with QTS to join their team from September.
The school provides a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where pupils receive personalised education designed around their individual needs. The dedicated staff team works closely together to support pupils’ academic progress, communication skills, independence, and emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and accessible lessons that are tailored to the abilities and needs of each pupil.
- Work alongside teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to create a holistic approach to learning and ensure pupils receive the best possible support.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience teaching within SEND or specialist education settings
- Ability to create differentiated lessons and personalised learning plans
- Positive, patient, and encouraging teaching style
- Passion for helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve success
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
