We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in schools across Braintree, on either a day-to-day or long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HLTA who enjoys supporting pupils’ learning and working closely with teaching staff.
The Role:
- Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Support learning across a range of year groups
- Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Assist with assessment and pupil progress
- Support classroom behaviour and engagement
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working in a UK school setting
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Flexible, proactive, and reliable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
