A welcoming primary school in Bradford is looking for a full-time Behavioural SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils who need consistency, understanding, and the right adult by their side. This role is all about relationships. You’ll be helping children who find school tricky at times, supporting emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and access to learning in a way that works for them.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs, often linked to SEN
- Providing 1:1 or small group support within the classroom
- Helping pupils manage emotions, routines, and transitions
- Using positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff
