Are you passionate about nurturing young learners in their most formative years? Protocol Education is working with a number of mainstream primary schools in Lewisham to recruit Early Years Educators who are committed, caring, and ready to make a meaningful impact in Reception and Nursery classrooms. This role offers the chance to support children's learning, development, and wellbeing at a crucial stage, while working alongside experienced class teachers and inclusive school teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
- Assisting with classroom routines, small group work, and 1:1 support
- Promoting positive play, communication, and early social skills
- Creating engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support individual needs
We're looking for candidates who:
- Hold a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification
- Have experience working with children aged 3–5 in school or nursery settings
- Understand the EYFS framework and child development milestones
- Are creative, proactive, and confident in leading small group activities
- Are committed to safeguarding and supporting inclusive education
