What you’ll be doing:

  • No two days are the same—and that’s just how you like it.
  • You’ll be the class teacher’s right hand: setting up for the day, supporting groups or 1:1s, helping with resources, transitions, behaviour, and the occasional glitter-fuelled craft activity.
  • From phonics games to emotional check-ins, you’ll be there to help children feel safe, seen, and ready to learn.
  • You’ll also play a key role in supporting pupils with SEND—adjusting resources, simplifying instructions, and spotting when someone needs a breather.

You’ll need:

  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Childcare & Education
  • A good grip on the national curriculum
  • Confidence with group work and SEN support
  • A quick-thinking, flexible mindset—because schools don’t always run to plan
