An Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school is seeking a skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support their Reception class. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working closely with three SEN pupils to ensure they receive tailored support and guidance.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for three SEN pupils in Reception.
- Manage the needs of dysregulated students.
- Implement strategies to support pupils’ learning, social, and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider staff to create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
- Maintain patience, consistency, and professionalism while managing challenging behaviour.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with SEN pupils, ideally in a Reception setting.
- Ability to manage dysregulated students with resilience and confidence.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Calm, consistent, and adaptable approach to behaviour management.

Hours
- Hours: 8:15am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
