Contract: Full time, long term, with the potential to go permanent

Are you an SEN HLTA who loves those lightbulb moments, the small wins, and being the calm, consistent adult that little learners rely on? We’re working with a genuinely lovely Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school looking for a full-time SEN HLTA to support pupils from Reception through to Year 2. This is an ASAP start, full-time role with real long-term potential. For the right HLTA, this could even turn permanent.

Your role

  • Supporting pupils with SEN across EYFS and KS1, both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to adapt learning and routines
  • Helping pupils develop confidence, communication, and independence
  • Being a consistent, nurturing presence during the most important early years

  • Is confident working across Reception, Year 1, and Year 2

HLTA qualification is ideal, but strong SEN experience and the right attitude are just as important.
