We’re seeking an experienced and highly organised School Data Manager to join our administrative team. This is a key role within the school, supporting senior leaders by managing, analysing and presenting pupil and school performance data that informs decision-making, drives improvement and ensures statutory compliance.

ResponsibilitiesAs School Data Manager, you’ll take the lead on the school’s data systems and reporting. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, governors and teaching staff to ensure data is accurate, accessible and used effectively to support pupils and the wider school community.
- Have proven experience working with data in a secondary school, ideally in a Data Manager or similar role
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of a school MIS, such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or equivalent
- Have a secure understanding of secondary assessment, progress tracking and performance measures
- Be experienced in managing statutory data returns, including School Census, attendance and examination data
- Show exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality
- Be confident analysing and presenting data clearly to senior leaders, governors and other stakeholders
- Possess strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and data reporting tools
- Be able to manage competing deadlines calmly and effectively
Desirable experience includes examination entries and results analysis, knowledge of GDPR and data protection in schools, and a proactive approach to improving data systems and processes.
