Teaching can change a child’s path – we’re working with a welcoming school that’s looking for a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in reaching their potential, both academically and emotionally. This role is for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting progress and being a steady, positive presence in a child’s school day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to help them engage, learn and grow in confidence
  • Encouraging independence, resilience and self-belief
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENDCo and pastoral teams
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and strong routines

What you’ll need:

  • Experience working with young children, in a school or similar setting
  • A patient, gentle approach
  • A genuine belief in helping pupils feel valued and capable
  • A willingness to learn, adapt and be part of a collaborative school team
