We're working with welcoming specialist schools in South Shields looking to recruit Behaviour & Pastoral Support Assistants for long-term positions.
Your day-to-day duties will include
- Supporting pupils who require additional emotional support.
- Helping children re-engage with education.
- Delivering positive behaviour strategies.
- Supporting classroom routines and transitions.
- Encouraging pupils to achieve both academically and socially.
Experience supporting children with SEMH, Autism or behavioural needs would be highly advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
