Some days you’ll help a student complete their first piece of work in weeks. Other days you’ll help them stay calm enough to stay in class. Both are big wins. A specialist SEMH school in Durham is looking for a Teaching Assistant who can support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Helping students stay focused during lessons
- Supporting behaviour strategies in the classroom
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and resilience
You’ll be working closely with teachers and pastoral teams who genuinely care about every pupil.
