Protocol Education is recruiting for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a specialist SEND school supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils who may present challenging behaviours
- Implementing behaviour support plans
- Assisting with emotional regulation activities
- Supporting classroom learning and engagement
- Promoting independence and confidence
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families
Hours:
- Monday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
- Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:30am – 3:45pm
- Thursday: 8:30am – 4:15pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm
Requirements:
- SEND experience desirable but not essential
- Ability to build positive relationships
- Patient and empathetic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply and pay for one
- Full‑time applicants only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
