As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll be the friendly face, steady support, and biggest cheerleader for children who need a little extra help to thrive. We're working with welcoming schools across Bath looking for caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). If you've got experience in education and love helping children succeed, we'd love to hear from you.

Your day could include:

  • Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
  • Helping children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other additional needs
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and building confidence
  • Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom
  • Working closely with teachers and SEND professionals to provide the best possible support

What we're looking for:

  • At least 1 year's experience working in an educational setting
  • Experience supporting children with SEND is highly desirable
  • A patient, caring, and positive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred, although we can support you in obtaining one if required.
