We are seeking a dedicated and confident English Tutor to deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions for students across KS3 and KS4.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience teaching or tutoring English at KS3 and KS4 level
  • Hold a PGCE (QTS is not essential)
  • Be confident planning and delivering tailored English lessons
  • Differentiating learning effectively to meet individual student needs
  • Use scaffolding strategies to support progress and confidence
  • Build positive relationships with learners and encourage academic growth

This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students develop confidence and achieve success in English through personalised support.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
