Calling all nursery stars in Bath, this one’s for you. We’re working closely with lovely nurseries and primary schools across BA1 and BA2 who are looking for caring, dependable and flexible Early Years support staff to join their teams. If you’re someone who lights up when a child finally zips their own coat or proudly counts to ten, you’ll feel right at home here.

Whether you’re a Nursery Assistant, Early Years Practitioner or Learning Support pro, these roles are all about those magical first steps in education. We’re looking for people who bring patience, warmth and a calm, reassuring presence, the kind of person children naturally gravitate towards. You’ll be supporting little learners in EYFS and early Key Stage 1, working one to one or in small groups. Your days will be full of play, exploration and those “look what I can do” moments.

From helping children settle into routines, to encouraging early communication, phonics and number skills, you’ll play a big part in building their confidence and curiosity. And yes, there will be paint, glitter and plenty of storytelling along the way.

At Protocol Education, we don’t do one size fits all. We take time to get to know you, what you enjoy, what you’re great at, and how you like to work. Then we match you with settings where you’ll feel comfortable, supported and genuinely valued. Whether you’re after something flexible or more long-term, we’ve got you covered.

If you love helping children grow in confidence, build friendships and feel proud of themselves every single day, this could be such a rewarding next step.

  • Flexible work that fits around your life
  • Competitive daily pay, paid weekly
