We're looking for Behaviour Support Assistants to work across a range of SEMH schools, alternative provisions, and specialist settings. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who can build trust, stay positive, and help young people navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom. You’ll be supporting pupils who may have experienced barriers to education and helping them develop the confidence, resilience, and skills they need to succeed.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted role model
- Helping students engage with learning and classroom activities
- Using de-escalation strategies to support positive behaviour
- Working alongside teachers, pastoral teams, and external professionals to provide tailored support
