We’re working with a welcoming school looking for a Behaviour & Wellbeing Support Assistant to support pupils who need a bit of extra help with emotional regulation and engagement. You’ll be a calm, consistent presence in their day, helping them feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Helping students manage emotions and build positive behaviours
- Creating a calm, structured environment with clear routines
- Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
What we’re looking for:
- A patient, steady approach, especially on challenging days
- An interest in behaviour, wellbeing, or SEND
- Someone who can build rapport and stay consistent
- Experience with young people is great, but not essential
