Supply Teachers to support a variety of primary schools across Basildon.
This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and are confident covering classes across both
Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 .
The Role
- Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2.
- Step into different school environments and adapt quickly.
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and support pupil engagement.
- Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher.
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools.
- Confidence and willingness to cover both
KS1 and KS2 year groups .
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A flexible, positive, and professional approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
