Contract: Day-to-day supply and long-term placements
Salary: £92.63- £100 per day
Location: Barnsley

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting students aged 11 to 16 in lessons, small group interventions, or on a 1:1 basis
• Encouraging engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour in the classroom
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support student progress
• Assisting pupils with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment where every student can succeed

What we're looking for:

• Experience working with children or young people, whether in schools, youth work, coaching, mentoring, care, or similar settings
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, reliable, and adaptable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and making a difference in their education
• Previous classroom experience is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
