Looking for a KS2 TA role where you’re genuinely valued and part of the team? We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Barnsley who are looking for a reliable and caring KS2 Teaching Assistant to support learning across the classroom. You’ll be helping pupils stay focused, confident, and engaged, both in lessons and small group work.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting pupils across KS2 in class and small groups
  • Helping children access learning and build confidence
  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider staff team
  • Supporting routines, transitions, and behaviour positively

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with primary-aged children
  • Brings a calm, patient, and encouraging approach
  • Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
  • Is happy to muck in and be part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
