Teacher of Geography (Permanent) Secondary School – Redbridge

Start Date: April/September 2026 (or earlier by negotiation)

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London), dependent on experience

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Geography to join our successful Humanities faculty at a thriving secondary school in the London Borough of Redbridge. This role is suitable for an ECT or an experienced teacher who is passionate about Geography and keen to inspire students’ curiosity about the world around them.

The Role

  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available for suitable candidates)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-sequenced lessons that develop students’ geographical knowledge and skills
  • Use assessment effectively to support progress and raise attainment
  • Contribute positively to the Humanities department and wider school community
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve strong outcomes

  • Hold QTS (or be on track to achieve it)
  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
